Adorning the Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo as its prized blue gem is the new 20-foot Geo-Cosmos, which was recently revamped and equipped with 10,362 OLED panels that reflect a simulation of the Earth as seen from space. The new Geo-Cosmos is the largest of its kind in the world and is linked to interactive touchscreen panels (“Geoscopes”) that showcase a simulation of the recent tsunami disaster in Japan as well as real-time notifications of global weather.
